2011 cherry (& daisy) picking on cornell hill [16 photos] we took a detour enroute to sequoia's daycare this morning in order to pick cherries in an unmanaged cherry orchard. everything is late to ripen this summer, so the cherries weren't as plentiful as 2009 or 2010. to compensate for the small bag of cherries, sequoia suggested we pick a bouquet of flowers for rachel. he also sliced his thumb on a sharp piece of grass, and was happy to display the damage.
