upper property @ petes mountain road [97 photos] this is a home for sale on pete's mountain road in west linn, oregon

i've admired it from afar while biking past, and we noticed it was for sale this weekend.

the ~5 acre lot includes a second home (livable but less impressive) located downhill on the same property.

the architect for the modern house is robert thompson, and it is featured as 'dunlop residence' on tvaarchitects via portfolio -> residences.

petes mountain has water table issues, supposedly the wells in this area are dry 2-3 months per year.

adding a water catchment and cistern to the property seems like it could easily provide water year-round with no dependence on the well.
