in 1975, a year when NASA's Apollo Program was the coolest thing in my world, anna found this mug in the grass during a party at the houghton house sunken garden and handed it over to me. somehow i managed to keep it for 35 years, but today sequoia was using it and accidentally wiped it off of the table. it cracked all the way through and is headed into the garbage, but not without a proper memorial service.

Neeta Lind: Good thing you have photo documentation of this so he can understand when he's old enough.
nanna anna: Actually Sean, I think you you may have been the one who “found” it. We never knew who “lost” it but I always suspected that it was planted there by some student who was aware of your interest in space exploration.
