i don't think we can trust the thermometer in this multimeter anymore. a year ago it was able to report the highest temperature of our oven and the negative celsius temperatures in our garage freezer, but now we're outside in the ~18 degree fahrenheit weather and it's telling us things are a balmy 39 degrees fahrenheit (e.g. 4 degrees celsius).
