this was to be a brief lunch-break walk. but we took a few too many unknown forks in the trail and ended up miles away from the visitor center, and had to walk home along terwilliger road. if you're enlightended, or if you have no concept of time, work, and scheduling, then there is simply no such thing as “a bridge too far.”
