2008 us presidential election [25 photos] we voted on our lunch break. after dinner, we drove over to john kiser's house where we stuffed ourselves with food, watched the kids play pirate soccer, and followed the initial voting results on two laptops. when the election was called in obama's favor and mccain conceded, we toasted with champagne and apple juice, then moved upstairs to watch the obama acceptance speech on a television set. before we left, james and lelani treated us to an impromptu ballroom dance demonstration on the kitchen floor.
