sempdx searchfest 2008 [39 photos] inter@ctivate was kind enough to send me to the sempdx searchfest 2008 search marketing conference yesterday.

it was nice to share a room with 300 other people who are search-literate and get a sense of how far the search marketing industry has evolved.

my only gripe is that some of the speaker slots were too short for them to delve into complex subjects and advanced topics with any sort of depth. but for $299 i'd say it was a pretty efficient and enjoyable way to take the pulse of an industry via many informed perspectives.
