sequoia stayed home sick today. after work, i took him to urgent care and the doctor diagnosed him with bronchiolitis, which explains why he couldn't sleep all night, and why his breathing sounds like darth vader on speed.

sean dreilinger: he's staying home from a local home-stay daycare.

since six months old, he's spent 40 hours / week (or 23.8% of his weekly existence) with a grandma (and sometimes grandpa) who offer a daycare out of their house. sequoia can't talk to confirm this yet but i'm sure he considers them to be part of his immediate family.

he looks really good, considering he hasn't slept much and his armpit temperature reached 102+ last night. we unzipped his pajamas to help him cool off, and it made him look like fat elvis:
