after a full meal of kidney beans, green peas, corn, raisins, black olives, and other assorted salad samples - rachel introduced sequoia to jello - the red splotch on his plate there (and trailing down his chin too). after his first taste, he couldn't ingest it fast enough. see the motion blur on his hand, snapping up another piece of jello? it was a little sad because i expected he would explore some of the other famous properties of jello, such as its ability to squish out between your fingers when you hold it in your fist, and the fact that you can use it as an impromptu lighting gel or colored sunglass lens. the only other food i've ever seen him pounce on this aggressively is barbecued shrimp.
