nick's dragonfly [11 photos] anna & chips sent nick a wowee/ flytech remote-control dragonfly. he was so excited to try it that we trudged down to freepons park in the freezing weather to stand in the muddy grass and fly it until the batteries gave out. fortunately for parents, each charge of the batteries is good for about seven minutes of wing-flapping, after which we had an excuse to go home and make a fire. this summer, i'll let him know that he can recharge the batteries in the field ;-).
