Rez Trip 2009: Veteran's Day Event [285 photos] My family on the rez has done their 3rd annual Veteran's Day Appreciation Event at Inscription House on the Navajo Reservation. My family felt that is was important to honor the local veteran's with a luncheon and gift baskets. The last two years our Code Talker from Navajo Mountain attended but this year he was still in NYC attending the festivities there. I have not done this road trip since 2006 when my beloved Uncle Robert passed; that kinda knocked the wind out of my sails for a while. So, please forgive all the pics from my windshield because those are images I want to look at now and then. I love that road trip.
