This is wild Steelhead Salmon from Alaska. Only First Nation tribes can harvest these fish. CleanFish purchased this salmon from the Yup'ik Tribe of Alaska.

I found it at my local fish market, Crystal Springs Fish & Poultry, the best fish market on the peninsula.
The flesh was slightly pink and very mild tasting. Since it was wild it was not as oily as farmed salmon. Very good, we had it twice before it ran out at the market.
