Finished roasting: Sugar pumpkin on the left and Ghost Pumpkin on the right.
Tasting notes:
Sugar pumpkin: vegetal, stringy like spaghetti squash, tasted more like squash than pumpkin. Made soup with it. It was just ok and will return to using butternut squash for soup.
Ghost pumpkin: tastes like PUMPKIN! Smooth, rich and darker in color. This is what I will make the pie with.
