The lovely lady on the left is 81 year old Dorothy T. Cornell with the Hawaii Voting Project. She lives in Honolulu and was one of the Netroots Nations Scholarship recipients. I met her in the food court at the Austin airport and I was glad to let her know I had a photo of her. She gave me permission to publish her name.
She said she didn't feel the need to slow her life down until she was 75; 10 years after the retirement age. She was an inspiration to me.
We met because she inadvertantly exclaimed while reading the local free newspaper; Austin American Statesmen (that dissed Netroots Nation today) that "they're still printing Prince Valiant?!?!
