OK. Now that I have my wits about me I decided to try telephoto mode, it worked better. You can see that he's having some lunch.

Spider Invasion :: Araneus Diadematus :: Cross Spider [12 photos] I currently (10.23.2007) have 5 of the same spider living on the east side of my home. I live in arachno-whatever land (sf bayarea) but I have never seen spiders like this. They are huge and they scare me. Do I capture them and (rehabilitate) relocate them or should I KILL them before they have deposited their egg masses all over? Or is it too late…shudder…!!!!!!
