LEGO Dragon (LEGOland)

Jennifer picked up $5 passes for LEGOland in the spring of 2006, so we
went to check things out. The (mostly) red dragon was nifty.

Who has so many red bricks to build such a thing? Oh, wait, it is
LEGOland, they have all the bricks.

LEGOland Carlsbad.

Comments:

Tracy┬╗: Cool! That's a LOT of Legos! They cheated on the wings though. ;-)

Do you think he's solid? Or hollow like a chocolate easter bunny?
jsf.online: I suspect there is a frame inside, likely a combination of metal and LEGO bricks. Metal skeleton to support those wings, LEGO bricks to support the exterior skin.

I need to get another image of the dragon with a person included for scale. Perhaps we'll go again this year and I can do that…
Tracy┬╗: How was the trip on the 24th? Did Matt have fun? No new pics?
Shadow Viking: Hooooleee COW!
