In the case of the Zoological Society of San Diego, implementing the imagebase to replace their original cgi-based postcard application reduced the user wait time (graph at left) on their high-traffic web servers from as high as 18 seconds (brown) down to 1.5 seconds (orange), reduced the number of server errors (code 500) from over 5,000 per month to fewer than 100, and reduced the load average on the servers from 10+ to consistently below 1. the postcard imagebase is the most--accessed feature of the society web site. | |

The California Avocado Commission uses the imagebase as a Digital Merchandiser to better monitor and refine their produce merchandising across the country.
