status

Synopsis: status [OPTIONS] [FILES]

• Alternate names – st, stat
• Requires – Working copy
• Changes – Nothing

Shows the status of files in the working copy.

Options:

• -l – Local. Runs in the current directory only.
• -R – Recursive. Descends into subdirectories (the default). The -R option exists only to counteract a -l in .cvsrc.
• -v – Shows tag information for the file.
