watched today the way
the sun plays down on the ocean
splendor of the rays
which reach down through the clouds
to touch the sea
crash washed over me
with a wave of strong emotion

blinded as i am
you are radiant to me
i cannot see as Love is blind and the sun
plays on me

from your eyes i see sunlight
shine so bright i can only be warm
when those two big brown eyes cry
i can see the rain
the same inside i seek to hide
and find shelter from the storm

hate is born as hearts are torn
and walked on bleeding pain
