wounded yellow bird on our back deck - _MG_5169

this bird crashed into a large picture window in the back of our house. while it was recovering from the impact, it was kind enough to hold still and pose for some photos. it recovered and flew away a little while later, despite the fact that rachel and nick were busily constructing a cardboard bird hospital for its extended convalescence.
