recipe: vegan garlic cream sauce
we were out of tomato marinara, so i made this and used it as a pizza sauce tonight.
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
.75 cup coconut milk
1 tsp dried basil
6 cloves garlic, pressed.
.5 tsp salt
melt first two ingredients in a sauce pan on medium-low heat. stir in everything else until it reaches sauce-like consistency.
let it cool for a few minutes, then spread on an uncooked pizza crust.
