rachel puts her new laptop through its paces. we just received a matched pair of dell precision m90 notebook computers on friday. rachel is running solidworks 2006 [i guess that's like open office or microsoft office for engineers]. she is inventing something to baby-proof our perilous stairway against any accidents with sequoia, who is due to start crawling the floors any day now.

sdbrown: Are you sure that's an HP calculator? It's looks like a TI-89 to me.

sean dreilinger: sdbrown, you're right. rachel's current calculator of choice is a TI-85 graphing calculator. she also had a newer Texas Instruments TI-89 calculator, but didn't like it as much as her TI-85.

sdbrown: Ah, my mistake! The TI-85 is a classic. I upgraded to the TI-89 when I took matrix algebra, but my 89 ain't as fancy as hers.
