bike lessons with grandpa - _MG_8255

bike riding with grandpa [10 photos] nick got a new bike for xmas, care of his grandparents aka santa claus. several of nick's previous bikeathons are documented on here, and they usually consist of about five minutes on the bike, until he decides its too hard and abandons his bike for the playground.

this new bike has bigger wheels, and i think nick must be learning to ride things at preschool. i don't know whether it was his grandpa being there, or the bigger wheels, or some other influence -- but nick managed five or six laps around a huge soccer field, only seeking assistance when his wheel got stuck in the mud. on past trips he could only get around the field once with lots of help on the uphills.
