not the band i played in called harvest moon.
not the neil young album entitled Harvest Moon
but a real live actual literal first-full-moon in september aka a harvest moon. well maybe its not precisely a full moon (my moon clock says its 99.2% full tonight).
tonight rachel called me enroute to her ballet class and said “you should run outside and check out the moonrise, its red!” so out i ran with a tripod, and sure enough the moon was intensely red. our neighbor asked me if i was taking pictures of the harvest moon (as if i would know). so thanks to wikipedia and our neighbor, now i actually know what a harvest moon is.

this is the most-evident stuck pixel on my eos 20d sensor. when i process images via dcraw, i can compensate for it quite nicely, no such luck when posting jpeg files.
