interactivate - online agency [85 photos] i currently work for interactivate.com, an online agency (advertising, marketing, design, etc.). i was the third person to join the team, in december 1996 when it was known as “interactivate consulting group.” after three years building the agency, i took an five-year hiatus to operate SavvySearch with my brother Daniel, and then CNET Search.com. when i returned to inter@ctivate in 2004, it had grown to 60 people (now 90) in san diego, where we occupy three floors of a downtown skyscraper -- plus staffed offices in boulder, colorado (application programming) and newport beach, california (client services). plus me, beaming in remotely from oregon :-)

inter@ctivate portland [7 photos] Kent McIntosh and Tommy Weaver flew up from san diego to convene a summit at my house, temporarily tripling the Oregon headcount of Inter@ctivate, Inc. Kent and Tommy endured at least twelve hours of travel plus a night in the Airport Sheraton in order to pull off a five hour brainstorm on the rug in my home office.
