The verify command may be used to verify the OpenPGP signatures for
specific revisions of a file. Note that when the verify mode is
set to `warn' or `fatal', via the environment
(see section All environment variables which affect CVS), the command line (see section Global options),
or as a CVSROOT method option (see section The connection method), CVS
verifies all revisions before operating on them.
These standard options are available with verify
(see section Common command options, for a complete description of
them):
-lLocal; run only in current working directory. See section Recursive behavior.
-pPipe signatures to the standard output, instead of verifying.
-RSign all files recursively (default). See section Recursive behavior.
-r tag[:date]Verify the revisions specified by tag or, when date is specified and tag is a branch tag, the version from the branch tag as it existed on date. See also, Common command options.
