A.8.1 annotate options

These standard options are supported by annotate (see section Common command options, for a complete description of them):

-l

Local directory only, no recursion.

-R

Process directories recursively.

-f

Use head revision if tag/date not found.

-F

Annotate binary files.

-r tag[:date]

Annotate file as of specified revision/tag or, when date is specified and tag is a branch tag, the version from the branch tag as it existed on date. See Common command options.

-D date

Annotate file as of specified date.

-w width

Modify the width of the username field (default 8). The specified width must be greater than 0 and less than 80.
